BASIC GEOMETRY CONOPTS AND DEINITIONS

Geometry: It´s and of Know Lenge wich studies any elements and operations on/in the plane such aspoinis, lines or shapes. It comes from the Greek, geo  < eah and metry = meassurement.

Point: In geometry a point can be defined as the place or lation where two lineas inters. A point his not dimensions, no heigh and no widh.

Line: A one- dimensional object formed of infinite points. It hat hot end points and continues on forever in / a plane

Ray: A line wich lengis at a particular pant ( called the endpoind ) and extends endlessy in one direction.

Mydpoint: It is point that is halfwas between the endpoints of the line segment.

End- point: And  end Point is a point at which a line segment or a ray ends or starts.

Line Segment: It is a line with two endpoints.

Length: Mesurement of something from end to end.

Set Squares ( UK) Triangles ( US): They are two special rulers with triangularshape. One is called the  45º triangle and other  60º/30º triangle . Both have 90º angle: They are used for  makin diferent angles.
